Donna and I took a few days off earlier this month for some much needed RR in the Palm Desert area with a day trip into Joshua Tree. Despite the intense sand storms and high winds that eventually contributed to the fires, we had a great time. The desert for me has always been a refreshing mix of rugged landscapes, resilient life and fresh air. Here a few snapshots.
