Last weekend I shot a promotional event in Santa Monica for the upcoming Smurf movie due out later this month. Despite the heat, fans of the blue shorties came out with gusto.

Creating the Goldenbox movie poster

I was lucky enough to work with director Matt MacDonald on the concept and production of his film's movie poster. Goldenbox is about the antics of two best friends on a James Bond-esque adventure. I photographed the two leads, Johnny Wactor and Chris Hayes on a sound stage and later the brilliant Max Miceli created the final poster composite.

In addition to the poster we also shot Matt's publicity image, creating a playful Hefner/Bond theme. Special thanks to Parisa Azamian for being our beautiful Bond Girl.
